
About Anne
Anne is a Chinese Kiwi, living in New Zealand for 23 years. She was a professional basketball player in Beijing from age 15. At 16, she got scholarship for Xian Sports University. She was a top student. Later she became a journalist and worked for the second largest newspaper group, Guangming Daily in Beijing.
She followed her dream to come to New Zealand and studied at Massey University. She obtained Master’s in Management, majoring in International Business. She is a business consultant helping New Zealand companies do business in China. She also has wide experience across tourism, events, and international education, such skills and experience she can use to build smarter partnerships and stronger ties to Asia to grow a strong local business. She actively served on both the Tamahere and Matangi Community Committees, and as a board member and company director.
